What We Do
A Mesa Crew for Aerospace, Healthcare, Technology, Education, and Corporate Brands
Mesa’s aerospace, manufacturing, healthcare, education, tourism, technology, and professional-services sectors create a broad range of communication opportunities. Organizations use video to recruit employees, introduce products, explain services, document facilities, train teams, support conferences, and share patient or customer stories.
Each project begins with a clear audience and objective. Interviews, b-roll, locations, graphics, and final formats are selected to support that goal rather than operating as disconnected elements.

WHY BEVERLY BOY
Mesa Videographer Services Across Downtown, Riverview, and the East Valley
A straightforward interview may use one videographer with dedicated audio and professional lighting. Larger assignments can include additional camera operators, producers, sound mixers, lighting technicians, teleprompter operators, drone pilots, hair and makeup artists, and production assistants.
Personnel, equipment, locations, and deliverables are selected according to the project instead of applying the same package to every assignment.
Transparent, Line-Item Quotes
Receive an itemized estimate within 24 hours separating personnel, equipment, locations, travel, project expenses, and post-production. This makes it easier to adjust the scope before approval.
Cinema-Grade Equipment
Sony, RED, and ARRI cinema systems are selected according to the recording format, lighting conditions, location, and delivery requirements. Supporting equipment can include cinema lenses, wireless audio, professional lighting, teleprompters, gimbals, sliders, monitors, and media-management systems.
Local Crew, National Reach
Local camera operators, sound mixers, lighting technicians, producers, and production assistants are available throughout the East Valley. Union professionals, FAA Part 107-certified drone pilots, and additional national resources can be arranged for larger or specialized projects.
Full Permit Handling
Our team identifies the department, property manager, airport, or agency responsible for each location. We organize the applicable applications, insurance documents, property agreements, parking arrangements, neighborhood notices, and traffic-control requirements.
Filming in Mesa
What It's Like Filming in Mesa
Mesa offers historic, cultural, aviation, sports, commercial, and desert settings across a large geographic area. Downtown and Main Street provide storefronts, civic buildings, murals, museums, arts facilities, and Valley Metro light-rail activity.
Mesa Riverview and Sloan Park offer sports facilities, retail areas, open spaces, and event environments. Falcon Field and the area surrounding Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport add hangars, aircraft activity, training facilities, industrial properties, and aerospace businesses.
East Mesa introduces newer commercial developments, residential neighborhoods, desert vegetation, and mountain views. Usery Mountain and the surrounding Sonoran Desert provide open landscapes, rugged ridgelines, trails, and native plant life.
Summer heat has a significant effect on exterior schedules. Early call times, shaded staging areas, hydration, and shorter outdoor work periods help protect personnel and equipment. Monsoon conditions can bring dust, strong wind, lightning, sudden rain, and reduced visibility.
Local Filming Tips (Save Your Crew Time)
| TOPIC | QUICK ADVICE | |
|---|---|---|
| Permits | Film Mesa requires a permit for commercial assignments, including advertising, corporate projects, documentaries, music videos, television programs, and commercial photography. | |
| Weather | Temperatures regularly exceed 100°F and can rise above 110°F. Schedule demanding exterior setups early, provide shade and hydration, limit direct sun exposure, and protect equipment from overheating. | |
| Parking | Restrictions or closures require a barricade company to prepare and submit a traffic plan for review. Equipment placed in streets, alleys, lanes, or sidewalks can also trigger additional coordination. | |

Common Questions
FAQs — Hiring a Videographer in Mesa
How much does a videographer cost in Mesa?
Our half-day, single-camera Mesa assignments generally range from $1,200 to $1,800. The final amount depends on the personnel, equipment, location count, schedule, access requirements, and editing scope.
Larger or multi-day projects involving additional personnel, several locations, aerial footage, and complete post-production may range from $9,000 to $15,000 or more. An itemized estimate is provided before approval.
What types of videos do your Mesa crews film most often?
Our Mesa videographers support aerospace, manufacturing, healthcare, education, technology, tourism, professional services, and corporate communication.
Common assignments include executive interviews, recruiting videos, patient stories, product demonstrations, training content, conference coverage, live streams, documentaries, sports content, and brand campaigns.
How far in advance should I book?
A standard assignment should generally be booked three to four weeks ahead because Film Mesa asks for at least 15 working days to review permit requests.
Four to six weeks provides more flexibility for airport properties, city facilities, street restrictions, police staffing, drones, several locations, and dates during spring training.
Can you handle filming permits?
Yes. We identify the city department, facility, airport, park agency, property manager, or private owner responsible for each location and coordinate the applicable requests and supporting documents.
A Film Mesa permit does not automatically authorize access to private buildings, airport tenants, city facilities, county parks, state land, federal land, or tribal property. Each location is reviewed separately.
Do you offer both ground and drone filming?
Yes. Aerial work is handled by FAA Part 107-certified pilots using professional drone equipment.
Availability depends on the exact coordinates, requested altitude, controlled airspace, temporary restrictions, airport activity, property rules, and safe takeoff and landing access. A city permit and FAA authorization address different requirements, so one does not replace the other.
What should I budget extra for when filming in Mesa?
Possible additional expenses include facility rentals, private-property fees, barricade plans, traffic-control equipment, police staffing, fire review, parking, insurance endorsements, airport access, security, travel, licensed music, custom graphics, and expedited editing.
Summer assignments may also require shade, cooling equipment, additional hydration, shorter exterior periods, or an indoor backup location.
How much should a 3-minute video cost?
A compact three-minute video may fall within our Tier 2 range of $2,500 to $4,500 when it uses one location, limited personnel, and straightforward editing.
A more involved project generally falls within the Tier 3 range of $4,500 to $7,500 or higher. Several locations, extensive interviews, aerial footage, custom graphics, licensed assets, and multiple final versions can increase the total.
