With the basic time-lapse shot, the idea is to capture the scene over a long and steady period of time. It’s a great technique for capturing moving clouds and traffic, sunsets, sunrises, shadows, clouds, and more. The concept is to have the settings and camera fixed as you shoot.


2. Hyperlapse Videography

Hyperlapse videography is a more technical type of Miami time-lapse videography but it provides a “hyper” look for your videos that can be quite exciting when it’s done well. In fact, some of the most mind-blowing scenes and shots are done using hyperlapse filming. The technique is accomplished by shooting the camera at one spot, no matter what’s happening around it. Astro time-lapse is a kind of time-lapse videography that involves capturing astronomical scenes and events at night in the sky, taken from a dark spot. Astro time-lapse is typically referred to  as astrophotography or astrovideography.


7. Focus Pull Time-Lapse

A form of time-lapse videos that consists of shooting a focus ring and allows you to adjust as you work. As an advanced form of this type of shooting, it’s a favorite for professionals and often used with motion control time-lapse videography.
