1. Incorporate Branding

Using your visual language is important even with motion graphics! You need to incorporate your brand style into your motion graphics in any way that you can. Even with motion, the basic branded elements of your video should reflect who you are and what you or your business is about. You should also utilize a less is more approach whenever possible. This will help you to achieve the desired results.

2. Apply Gradients

One of the simplest motion graphics tips and tricks we can offer for beginning filmmakers is to apply gradients. These can make even a simple background or the simplest text appear more full of depth and shape. Using a gradient, add depth and visual representation to the text on your screen. It’s well worth the effort!

3. Incorporate Textures

Want to create quick motion graphics on your text? Incorporating textures represents an interesting opportunity for you to incorporate motion graphics into your footage with ease.  You can find many different free textures to incorporate into your motion graphics video productions.

4. Blur Backgrounds

In order to get the most out of your motion graphics you might want to blur out background images and actions taking place in the back. This will bring the viewer’s attention to the motion graphics that are being used and will keep them engaged there. It doesn’t mean you have to totally blur out everything else, just a slight blur will help the graphics to stand out more sharp and visibly for the audience.
