  1.  Basic Time-Lapse Videography

With the basic time-lapse shot, camera and settings are fixed. The concept is to capture the scene over a period of time so that footage can be shown over time. While it’s not a unique concept, it’s ideal for filming moving traffic, clouds, sunrise, or sunsets.

Hyperlapse videography is a more technical kind of Berkeley time-lapse videography but it provides a “hyper” look for your videos that can be exciting when it’s done well. It’s what is used for many mind-blowing scenes in films, and is achieved by shooting the same thing, regardless of what’s going on around it. The final product looks like the frame is the same as the previous frame, even though perspective is being shifted.
