Check out these, and other things, that you don’t know about the average kitchen live streaming setup.  We bet you’ll be super surprised with the details we’re about to provide!

1. The Chef’s Aren’t Perfect! Meals Sometimes Burn!

Let’s face it, no meal is perfect! Sometimes chef’s burn the dinner, even if they’re amazing at what they do! One thing you don’t see on a kitchen live streaming setup is the behind the scenes interactions that occur.

The food could burn, the meal could take longer to cook, and the plating might not always go as planned. When meals aren’t perfect, they’re doctored up to make for the perfect deliver despite any underlying issues that occur.

2. Those Picture Perfect Meals Are NOT Edible

The typical live streaming kitchen setup is where you expect several great meals to be prepared. In fact, you might even find that picture perfect meals are prepared on the set.

However, the typical live kitchen streaming setup may feature picture-perfect meals but they are not truly that great. They may not taste edible, and they are almost certainly not something that you should eat!

3. Someone Else Cleans Up the Mess

Have you ever considered how much fun it would be to cook in a test kitchen? Somewhere that you would not have to clean the mess up when you are done.

What you probably don’t know about a kitchen live streaming setup is that when the chef is done preparing the meal for the camera crew, there is another crew that comes in and cleans the entire mess.

The kitchen might resemble a disaster-zone, but when the next crew is all done, the entire kitchen set will be clean and prepared for the next show.

4. The Prep is Prepared Beforehand

Like other elements of a cooking show, a kitchen live streaming setup is almost guaranteed to be prepared by a team of professionals that work beforehand to get all the intricate chopping and preparation of various foods ready for the show.

Have you ever wondered how the Chef on a cooking show is able to turn around and voila, they’ve got the chopped onions, spices, and pre-measured condiments they need?

It’s all part of the prep that takes place before the production of a cooking show for livestream or for broadcast production. You didn’t actually think that the chefs did all the work, did  you?

5. This is NOT Their Home Kitchen!

Finally, something that few chefs are willing to admit to and others are almost certain to deny, kitchen live streaming setup does not include the background prep kitchen of the individual. This is NOT their home kitchen! This is NOT where they cook on a regular basis!

Not only would the typical kitchen be too small for a film crew to work in, it would lack all the important elements that a professional film crew brings to the “average” film set.

If you think that what you’re watching on television or online is the actual home kitchen of the cook — you’ve got it all wrong! This is one of the many things you don’t know about a Kitchen live streaming setup.
