Most event streams can be accomplished for between $1,000 and $5,000 for a single day event but technical needs, event length, and crew size can all impact that rate.

Atlanta Event Streaming Costs

Crew is one of the greatest influencers of event streaming costs. A large crew will be required for a larger event.

With most crew rates ranging between $100 and $250 per hour, per crew member, the rate that you pay for an event stream can quickly rise with a larger technical crew.

Expect to spend:

• Director – up to $250 per hour

• Camera Operator – up to $400 per hour
•  
• Equipment – up to $100s per hour
•  
• Narrator – up to $400 per hour
•  
• Switcher – up to $200 per hour
•  
• Streaming platform – $50 to $1,000 (depends on the platform and usage)

• B-Roll – usually a percentage of the total cost between 10 and 50%
•  
• Miscellaneous Fees – very little or could be 1,000s

Additional crew costs can result from the need for a more experienced crew, higher technical needs, or when specialty equipment is required in order to broadcast the stream.

Can’t I Just Stream for Free?

When clients ask us, “How much does it cost to stream an event in Atlanta?” and we answer with rates between $1,000 and $5,000 per day, some clients ask, “Can’t I just stream for free?” 

We realize that free livestream options on Facebook Live or YouTube Live may appear to be a good option but unfortunately these are not ideal.

Live streaming your event with these platforms does not provide you with the control over your event the way a private stream will.
